Required for September 2018
We are looking for a well qualified and motivated Teacher of Mathematics to join our large and successful Mathematics Faculty in this high performing Church of England Academy within the Veritas Educational Trust.
A National Teaching School and SCITT, Bishop Ramsey Church of England School is a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 Anglican mixed Academy, with high academic standards as well as a tradition of pastoral care. We were recognised as “outstanding” by Ofsted in 2006 in all categories and were also judged “outstanding” in all categories in our SIAS Inspection in March 2013. We were also awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark in 2015, one of only 43 schools in the country to have received this award. We have excellent facilities and a strong record of academic success across all subjects and Key Stages: 52% A*-B grades at A level, 33% A*-A (9-7) grades at GCSE over the past four years. Progress between KS2 and KS4 is also strong (P8 + 0.17 in 2017, +0.38 in 2016).
This post would suit an NQT looking to start their career in a high performing school or an experienced professional.
