“An Outstanding School” in all four categories – Ofsted November 2013
We are a boy's school with co-educational Sixth Form. There are currently 960 pupils on roll; approximately 100 of these are boarders. The Sixth Form has about 340 students of whom just over 100 are girls.
Due to our school expansion we are seeking to recruit an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics who can teach pupils from Year 7 through to the Upper Sixth; suitable candidates may also have the opportunity to teach Further Mathematics in the Sixth Form, but it is not essential for you to do so. We also wish to appoint someone who is interested in being involved in the wide range of extra-curricular activities that are an important part of the life of this school.
Newly qualified teachers will follow a full programme of induction to prepare for Qualified Teacher Status. For more experienced applicants there is a programme of staff development and in-service training in the school; we are committed to the professional development of all our teaching staff.
