We seek to appoint an exceptional full-time Mathematics Teacher to teach A-Level Maths and Further Maths to a group of equally exceptional and motivated students.
Academic achievement and personal growth are at the heart of what we aim to achieve at OIC; and the College’s success in achieving these goals is evident in the students’ achievements. In 2018, 83.5% of grades achieved were A* - A, with 58.2% of A* grades. Oxford International College is therefore one of the UK’s leading co-educational A-level boarding colleges for students aged 16 – 21.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a highly successful college and a group of teachers that deliver outstanding A-Level results, and where the quality of teaching exceeds expectations.
We are looking for a talented Maths and Further Maths Teacher. You will have a very good degree in Mathematics or a related subject, outstanding subject knowledge and have the ability to convey passion and enjoyment of your subject to international students. We value a flexible approach to teaching, recognising that despite our students being ambitious, they will nonetheless have different educational needs.
We are very happy to receive applications from newly qualified teachers or graduates who hope to enter the profession but don’t have a PGCE. QTS is preferable but not essential.
What we offer
• A salary of between £32,000 and £45,000 per annum;
• Excellent professional development opportunities;
• A vibrant, open and positive environment for teaching and learning;
• 10 weeks’ holiday per annum.
