Teacher of Mathematics Required 0.4 Part Time For a New Hospital Service. Near Gatwick

An unique opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an enthusiastic and motivated Maths specialist. Required as soon as possible a Maths Teacher to be part of a new CAMHS service. Elysium Healthcare are opening a new 12 bed purpose built General Adolescent Unit. Within the Hospital is a fully equipped school. This includes interactive boards and IT suite. All staff and patients are issued lap tops.

You will be joining a small specialist teaching team delivering the curriculum to up to twelve pupils although the groups will be smaller than this and taught in Key stages. If you are an energetic and creative teacher then we will want to hear from you. You will be joining a larger group of another five Elysium CAMHS Independent Schools all rated either "Good" or "Outstanding"

We are putting together a team of specialist teachers teachers to teach our pupils who will be inpatients at the Emerald Place Hospital Fairfield, Horley. The patients will have been referred to our service for various psychiatric issues who require some medical intervention to support them in their transfers to home and education.

We will be teaching the pupils in Key Stages, supporting the majority with work provided from their home schools. Some patients will follow our own curriculum. With only twelve beds the class sizes will be small.

This post is for two days a week at present, if you have other subject specialisms this will be advantageous and we may extend the days to suit. We are looking for teachers that wish to work in a small team of up to six or seven teachers initially. We offer free meals and parking, up to date equipment and resources. Well being initiatives and support from Maths teachers throughout the group. We have one stop IT systems for recording data and reports etc. This is there to avoid duplication of workloads. We recognise the importance of the work home balance , having no expectation of out of hours working.
