Teacher of Mathematics, with responsibility for KS3 curriculum (for January 2021)
Are you a fantastic mathematician looking for a new role in a small and growing school?
We are looking to appoint an ambitious and committed teacher to join our small Maths department and drive forward our provision. You will be an effective and engaging classroom practitioner who knows how to get the best out of students and colleagues. The role will involve designing and implementing curriculum to strengthen key transition phases, so you will be a great communicator, interested in supporting colleagues in our Primary section to ensure children start Year 7 with secure foundations. In addition to KS3, you will also have some KS4 and IBDP classes, so a strong subject knowledge base is essential.
Southlands International School is set on a spacious, green site in one of Europe’s most historic cities. With a role of 300 students aged 3-18 years, we have a strong commitment to the community we serve and we are passionate about the power of small class sizes in achieving both outstanding academic results and meaningful personal growth. The school is at an exciting stage of its development and this position provides an opportunity to develop leadership and teaching skills whilst working with some truly incredible students and colleagues.

Our School
Established in 1976, Southlands is an outstanding British International School in the south of Rome. We offer a holistic British international education for students aged three to 18 on a spacious rural campus.
