The British International School of Jeddah (BISJ), is seeking to recruit a Teacher of Mathematics to join the Secondary School in August 2021. The ideal candidate will be an extremely competent mathematician with prior experience of teaching IB Diploma Programme Higher Level Mathematics or A-Level Further Mathematics. Alternatively, candidates may have experience of teaching IB Diploma Programme Standard Level Mathematics or A-Level Mathematics coupled with the ability, motivation and determination to develop themselves to teach IB Diploma Programme Higher Level Mathematics. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for their subject and the ability to support and motivate students to develop a love of learning and to achieve high academic outcomes.   

The BISJ secondary school provides an exciting place to work, delivering a modified UK National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 followed by Cambridge IGCSE in Years 10 and 11, culminating in the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 and 13. Academic outcomes and expectations are very high and students consistently outperform the IB worldwide points average. BISJ is valued by the local, regional and international community with parents, students, staff and alumni having a sense of pride and belonging to the school.
