An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Teacher of Mathematics. This post is an opportunity to join our successful team who wish to share their love of Mathematics and Mathematics teaching with a new colleague. We seek to appoint a well qualified, ambitious and passionate teacher who can inspire students with an infectious love of Mathematics. In addition, the successful candidate must be an innovative and motivational mathematics teacher with secured subject knowledge and the desire and commitment to raise achievement of students at all levels.
Our Academy is a learning community of outstanding teachers and staff who wish to make a positive difference to the young people we serve. This vacancy has arisen due to expansion of the College and continued oversubscription for places in Year 7, as well as significant growth in our Sixth Form. Our Sixth Form offer includes A Level Maths, A Level Further Maths as well as the Level 3 Certificate in Core Maths.
The successful candidate will be joining one of the most exciting Mathematics Departments in the country and will continue to develop professionally in a well led and supportive environment, working collaboratively amongst an enthusiastic team and could have the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5.
John Henry Newman Catholic College is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as well as providing evidence of qualifications.
