The Maths Department at Birkdale High School are a committed, collaborative and hard working team with a strong team ethos. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic department who have worked hard to develop a carefully sequenced and challenging curriculum. With visualisers and interactive whiteboards in every classroom, an emphasis on mastery, modelling and effective retrieval practice, we ensure that we invest time and energy in strategies that most benefit our boys. We are proud to consistently achieve excellent results in Maths and we are looking for an outstanding, passionate teacher to continue to contribute to further improvements in this successful department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher of Maths with outstanding potential to join a successful department with committed teachers working as a close team. The appointed candidate is required to join the team from 1 September 2024. This role is suitable for an ECT or a more experienced teacher.
