Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or more experienced teacher to join The King’s highly skilled team of Mathematicians.

This is an exciting career opportunity to join a strong team of specialist, highly committed and enthusiastic teachers working across KS3-4 and working towards outstanding outcomes for our learners. We are looking for a talented individual who has flair, is innovative and can impart a passion for Maths. There is the possibility of A-Level teaching.

The King’s CE (A) School moved into a brand new £14 million ‘super block’ in November 2016. Maths staff have their own dedicated classrooms to create environments that inspire our learners and a shared office space to support collaborations. All classrooms have access to fully integrated interactive whiteboards and AV equipment as well as access to tablets and other ICT equipment for use during lessons.

With outstanding practioners already on board now would be an amazing opportunity to join the team. In a school that is rapidly expanding, where talent is both recognised and rewarded, there are significant opportunities for career development.

If you are interested in joining our team of dedicated professionals, we would love to receive an application from you.

To apply for this post, please download the application from the school website (www.thekings.staffs.sch.uk). Applications should be returned directly to the school by email/hand/post addressed to Mr R Timmis (rtimmis@thekings.staffs.sch.uk).

Ofsted report

“Clough Hall is a good school. Strong and determined leadership, over the last few years, has transformed the school into a lively and inclusive school community, which is based on outstanding support and care for students and high aspirations for their future. Overall students achieve good or better outcomes during their time at school. By the end of Year 11, standards are broadly average or better even though starting points for many students are low. A higher than average number of students continues into training, further education or employment. Students feel very safe when they are in school.”
