We are looking to employ a talented, ambitious colleague to join our successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive high school, where last year the department achieved fantastic results of 69% A*-C pass rate at GCSE.

You will be well informed on current educational issues, with motivation and a passion for mathematics.

About Sir John Leman High School

Sir John Leman High School is a co-educational 11–18 secondary school with academy status serving part of the Waveney region in north Suffolk. The pupil roll is around 1,400, with some 160 of these students moving on to the school’s sixth form.

Sir John Leman High School was established in 1631. It has been on its present site for over 100 years. In 1914 the school became the County mixed grammar school and in 1971 a comprehensive high school. In recent years building work has gone on to expand the school and improve its facilities.

The school’s sixth form offers a wide choice of 30 advanced level courses, and a range of different routes for those on a one-year programme of study.
