We are looking for an outstanding and motivated teacher to join our popular and successful Mathematics department.

The Mathematics team is both friendly and supportive. We are committed to professional development, learning from each other and sharing good practice.

The department is on a journey of embedding the principles of Teaching for Mastery, led by the Head of Department who is NCETM Mastery Specialist. NQTs have excellent support from their department mentor.

We aim to create an enjoyable and productive working environment for both staff and pupils, where, together we strive to actively engage, learn and improve.

The Mathematics department has a track record of success at GCSE and A Level. Our 2019 GCSE results were outstanding with 90% of students achieving 4+ and 45% achieving 7+.

What we are looking for

You will:

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who will teach Mathematics to students of all abilities in Years 7 to 11.  There is an opportunity to teach A Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics for the appropriately qualified candidate.

• Have high standards of communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be enthusiastic and highly motivated, committed to working as part of a team.

• Have the ability to motivate both students and your peers with a proven track record in achieving excellent student progress.

• Be passionate about student welfare.

Salary Scale: Main Range/Upper Pay Range London (Fringe)
