Teacher of Mathematics

Responsible to: Assistant Vice Principal

Location: CAPA College, Mulberry Way, Wakefield, WF1 2QN

Grade: Main Pay Scale (if the successful candidate has QTS) or UQT Scale (if the successful candidate is a professional moving into a teacher career without QTS)

Contract: 3 Days Per Week

Closing Date: Monday 20th May

Interview Date: Thursday 23rd May

Overall Purpose of the Post: The postholder will deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Mathematics (as appropriate) to students who are resitting Maths at CAPA College. The successful candidate will support students to achieve the best of their abilities with the ultimate objective of achieving a Grade 4 / Level 2 (Functional Skills) or above.

Please note that successful applicants will be required to comply with all Enhance Academy Trust policies. The successful applicant will be subject to relevant vetting checks, including a satisfactory enhanced disclosure and pre-employment and safeguarding checks before an offer of appointment is confirmed. Following appointment, the employee will be subject to rechecking as required from time to time by the BLP.
