Oakwood School has the following Teaching Staff vacancy:-

Teacher of Mathematics with whole school responsibility for cross-curricular numeracy (TMPS + TLR 2a)

Salary negotiable depending on experience, expertise and performance at interview and potential for a recruitment incentive of between £2000 to £5000 for an outstanding candidate.

We require an enthusiastic and highly motivated Maths teacher to join our dedicated team from January 2020. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and non-Mathematic specialists with an enthusiasm for the subject and a willingness to convert. The ability to offer a second subject will be an advantage.

Maths is a thriving subject which is consistently above the national average for the percentage of students making more than expected progress and achieving 9–7 and 9-4 in GCSEs. As an expanding school, Oakwood is looking to appoint a motivated and committed teacher with a passion for teaching Maths throughout Key Stages 3 and 4.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to a candidate who is keen to expand their skills and expertise by leading this new initiative of Numeracy Co-ordinator at Oakwood School. This role would allow scope to lead and enhance the teaching of mathematics across the school and the chance to have a real input upon the development of the numeracy skills of all of our students.
