TLR responsibilities available for the right candidate
The Holt is a popular and oversubscribed 11-16 girls and 16-18 co-ed comprehensive school which converted to academy status in July 2011. As well as demonstrating passion for their subject the successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- aspires to be an innovative, outstanding practitioner
- is keen to participate in aspects of wider school life
- a team player with strong interpersonal skills
We can offer:
a school that is ambitious and has high expectations of staff and students
teaching across all Key Stages
excellent professional development
The school was judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2008; there are 1256 on roll (235 in the Sixth Form) and we have a record of academic success with 84% 5+ A*-C GCSE passes (including English and mathematics).
Results in mathematics for all three Key Stages are well above the national average and a large number of students choose to continue with mathematics in KS5.
