Two inspirational, enthusiastic and committed teachers of Mathematics are required to join an experienced team working together closely in a well resourced, efficient department.
Applications are invited from both experienced practitioners and those new to the profession. Experience of teaching at KS5 would be advantageous.
The Mathematics Department has a long tradition of academic excellence. The following courses are offered: MEIB Mathematics and Further Mathematics A-Level, OCR GSCE, AQA Further Maths Level 2, OCR Additional Mathematics and Functional Skills Level 1 and 2. IB students may choose from analysis and approaches standard level and higher level and applications and interpretations at standard and higher level from September. Pre-IB students are taught OCR GCSE in one year. The specific details of the teaching timetable will be discussed with the successful candidates.
The successful candidate is likely to have an interest in, and be able to make some contribution to, co-curricular activities and be understanding of the particular nature of a Boarding School, willing to undertake an evening duty once per week in term time (from 6.00pm - 10.30pm approximately).

About Stonyhurst
Stonyhurst College is the UK’s leading Catholic co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 3-18. Boarding is from the age of 7.
At the College, there are approximately 498 pupils aged 13-18, two thirds of whom are boarders.
