We require an enthusiastic, talented and caring Maths specialist teacher to join our Maths Department.
Godstowe is a thriving, busy school enjoying a famous reputation in its field. Approximately a third of our pupils are boarders. The School prepares children for entry, mostly at 13+ but some at 11+, into the leading independent senior schools. The School prides itself in academic excellence, whilst being non-selective at entry. For over 120 years, Godstowe girls have achieved outstanding results. Many have competed successfully for scholarships and awards at prestigious Senior Schools and have represented the School at local and national competitions. At the same time the School provides excellent pastoral care, to ensure that pupils flourish in line with our ethos of encouraging them to be confident, happy and successful.
The successful candidate will join a professional and happy team. At Godstowe, subject teachers in the Maths Department focus on all aspects of the Maths curriculum. The successful candidate will be experienced in teaching Maths to Years 7 and 8 to a high standard. All part-time teachers contribute one hour per week to the extra-curricular programme.
We require a qualified and experienced teacher and will consider an ECT for the position.

Godstowe was founded by two strong, progressive women, originally in fact as a school whose purpose would be to prepare girls for the move down the hill to Wycombe Abbey School. Their vision was for an innovative, academic and broad education for girls and, without a doubt, this continues to live on in today’s school.
