The Lakes School is seeking to employ a permanent outstanding part-time teacher 0.6fte of Maths from 1st September 2022. We would welcome applications from outstanding candidates who are interested in making a long-term commitment to the school.
We are a high achieving, fully comprehensive school; a dynamic and innovative centre at the heart of the Lake District where all pupils have the opportunity to achieve within a caring learning community. The Lakes School was graded good in all areas by OFSTED in November 2019.
We are seeking an outstanding classroom practitioner to teach Maths with the commitment and energy to inspire our students. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the ability and age range, including GCSE and A Level with further maths and will join experienced colleagues within the school. Student outcomes in Maths have remained strong with results consistently reaching above the national average.
The post would be suitable for either an NQT or more experienced teacher.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and health check along with two satisfactory references.
