The role
We are looking for a talented colleague to be a Teacher of Maths at Parkside Community College. You will have the opportunity to teach students from Years 7 to 13. We teach the International Baccalaureate in the 6th Form, where everyone studies Maths at various levels: full training will be given. You will join an innovative and highly committed team who support one another to succeed and share a deep interest in professional learning and development. You will be well supported by our excellent head of department and your teaching will be underpinned by strong schemes of work and assessment and the work of the United Learning subject advisory team.
Computing
At Parkside, the Maths team also take a lead in the teaching of Computing at Key Stage 3 and it is also a popular subject at GCSE. Support and training is in place for colleagues in the teaching of Computing and for an appropriate candidate, there may be the additional opportunity to teach the GCSE. IB Economics is also a possibility for a colleague with appropriate experience.
