Our 2016 examination results have put the school in the top 7% nationally (Progress 8) an achievement of which we are immensely proud.  

North Huddersfield Trust School opened in 2011 and has made significant improvements since its inception. ‘There is very much a sense of ‘team’ in the school. Staff are justifiably proud of what they have achieved, with the school moving from strength to strength’ Ofsted March 2015. 

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths on or before 1st September 2017. We welcome applications from NQT’s but for more experienced teachers there is an opportunity to take on extra responsibilities, attracting a TLR and for the right calibre of candidate we are offering a ‘Golden Hello’ of up to £4000, subject to conditions. The successful candidate will be able to inspire and enthuse students through excellent, creative and innovative teaching. At North Huddersfield Trust School we understand the workload placed on core subjects, therefore Maths and English colleagues have the benefit of additional PPA time. The successful candidate will have the skills and ability to: 

• plan, prepare and deliver high quality, differentiated lessons with pace and challenge

• build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and staff

• work on their own initiative and as part of a team • develop numeracy across the curriculum
