We’ll cut straight to the chase here - The Hyndburn Academy in Rishton, is looking for a Mathematics teacher or a Lead practitioner that has the inner strength, iron clad fortitude and long term vision to lead our pupils to the results we whole heartedly believe they are capable of.  

You’ll be entering a school undergoing rapid development across an eighteen-month period, with change occurring in multiple areas. As a teacher and leader you will be expected to grow with the school as this change takes place.  

You will be required to bring Maths to life in a dynamic, entertaining and original manner. If this were drama, you’d be delivering an Oscar winning performance, every day. Instead, we need your ‘formula’ for success as a Maths professional. The opportunity to teach A level mathematics at our sister school Accrington Academy is also available to the correct candidate.  

For the lead practitioner we are looking for someone who can assist the Subject Leader department and colleagues in our journey to build innovative and engaging learning in Maths. A key requirement of the position on offer is to empower our pupils to develop a passion for a subject that will shape their future careers and lives.
