Adel Beck is a 24 bedded Secure Children’s Home licensed by the Department for Education (DfE) on behalf of the Secretary of State, inspected by the Office for Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted), managed by Leeds City Council, Children’s Services and monitored by the Youth Justice Board (England and Wales).

We provide on-site Care, Education, Offending Behaviour Interventions, Personal Development and Health services (Inc. CAMHS services) to young people (males and females) aged between 10 - 18 who have been remanded or sentenced by a court or whose behaviour cannot be managed in any other form of accommodation. These services are supported by the on on-site Business Support Services Team.

Our vision is to work together to inspire change and development in attitude, behaviour, learning and emotions.

We are looking for a qualified, experienced and dedicated teacher to deliver Maths across KS3-KS5.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is looking for a new challenge and has a flexible approach, to join a committed Education Team which is aspiring towards outstanding.

The post holder will need to be a confident and effective teacher who can deliver exciting and fun lessons and be committed to improving outcomes for young people with challenging behaviour. We are looking for a teacher who relishes a challenge, who wants to try new ideas and who genuinely wants to contribute to the lives of young people with drive and passion. The ability to teach additional subjects would be desirable but not essential.
