REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2018 Full Time Teacher of MATHS – Main Scale
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Maths to join our friendly and supportive department. You would be joining a school where Maths is a central focus. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, the desire to extend this knowledge and the ability to contribute to continued improvements in student attainment.
Candidates should have a Maths related degree, ideally at 2:1 or higher and be able to teach at KS5 as well as KS3 and KS4. This role would suit either a newly qualified or an experienced teacher.

Netherhall School is a grant maintained, Local Authority, mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form, situated in Maryport, Cumbria. The school achieved its first ever rating of ‘Good’ from Ofsted in 2018, was named Cumbrian Secondary School of the Year later the same year, is host to the Cumbrian Secondary School Teacher of the Year and Cumbrian Secondary School Student of the Year. The school has a rapidly rising intake and the sixth form has over doubled in size in the past few years, with 720 students of age 11-18 currently on roll.
