We are seeking an ambitious, dynamic and innovative Teacher of Mathematics to cover a period of maternity leave at our Senior School in Loddon.
The ideal candidate will be fascinated and inspired by the subject and keen to contribute to a lively department. Maths at Langley is taught by well qualified subject specialists and is a popular choice into A Level. Our class sizes are small, our teachers are passionate and our pupils see the value and relevance of the content being covered. At Langley, we see it as our mission to foster a genuine and lasting love of the subject through exciting, well planned and engaging lessons in which pupils are challenged, encouraged to learn from their mistakes and are able to thrive.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum qualification of honours degree, desirably with QTS;
- A proven track record of engaging, inspiring and challenging pupils of all abilities and ages, including GCSE and A-level students;
- Experience in delivering lessons in line with the academic expectations of the school and the relevant GCSE and A-Level exam boards or equivalent;
- A keenness to contribute to developing schemes of work and innovative resources;
- The ability to establish and maintain successful relationships with pupils, staff and parents;
- A secure level of technological literacy.

Langley School is an HMC boarding and day school offering all through education to over 880 pupils aged 6 months to 18 years in Norfolk.
