TEACHER OF MATHS
Salary:- MPS/UPS £23,720 to £39,406
Job Purpose:
To deliver Maths to students, aged 11-16, all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan with a primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health. There will be the possibility of teaching Key Stage 4, however currently teaching will predominantly cover Key Stage 3 curriculum, in a creative way to enable students at all levels (including those with MLD) to access the subject in meaningful ways. Depending on the starting point and ability of students, qualification range from Entry Level to GCSE.
We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled practitioner, able to meet the needs of learners with SEND and engage them successfully within their subjects in order to ensure their success. Individuals will be able to support students effectively on their education journey, both in their subject, and holistically so that students are enabled to lead independent lives and make positive contributions to our community and society.
