Role Purpose -
As Teacher of Mathematics, this is an exciting opportunity to join us at an important time of our history; we are firmly on our way to achieving successful ratings from Ofsted with our sights set on becoming an Outstanding school. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students to ensure that they achieve their full potential, you will be engaging, enigmatic and enthusiastic.
This role would be suitable for either a Newly Qualified Teacher or a more experienced colleague; enthusiasm, passion and a commitment to inspiring young people are more important than years of experience.

The successful candidate will maximise the enjoyment, engagement and outcomes of young people in Maths. You will develop innovative, non-traditional approaches to the mathematic curriculum in order to ensure appropriate access and achievement for all students. You will facilitate and encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve the highest possible standards: to share and support the corporate responsibility for the wellbeing, education and discipline of all pupils.

Skills & Experience -
QTS / NQTS
It is essential that you are Degree qualified with passion, drive and enthusiasm within the relevant subject area.
The successful candidate will have previous classroom experience, knowledge of current issues and developments in education, a good awareness of strategies to improve the learning and achievement of students and a desire to raise standards in teaching and learning to improve achievement.
You will be committed to supporting learning, able to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and have an enthusiastic and engaging approach.
An enhanced DBS check is required for all of our roles
