Full Time - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
From September 2019, we require an exceptional classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching Maths or Science to join on of our experienced departments.
You will be an innovative, resilient, and creative teacher with a student centred vision. You will have ambition, energy and drive to provide our students with exciting and challenging lessons in Maths or Science. Professional development will be available and we proactively support our staff to enrich and develop their skills and practice.
The successful candidate will be:
• a creative, motivational and effective classroom practitioner
• passionate about Teaching and Learning and ensuring every child fulfils their potential
• able to inspire, challenge and motivate young people
• reflective and analytical about their classroom practice
• engaged in all aspects of the Maths or Science Department
We can offer:
• a Maths/Science subject area that is a well-equipped learning environment with all teaching rooms fitted with either interactive resources or a projector.

About King Edward VI High School
King Edward VI High School is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Westway, Stafford. It is a community state school, smaller than average, and will provide 1,049 places to secondary and sixth-form students aged 11-18, when fully subscribed.
The school was established in 1550, providing free education to young boys under the name of the Free Grammar School of King Edward VI. In 1907, Stafford Girls’ High School was established nearby to provide a grammar school education for girls. Seventy years later, King Edward VI Grammar School and Stafford Girls’ High School were amalgamated to create King Edward VI High School.
