Our focus is ensuring all students receive a high quality education and leave us as well qualified and well-rounded young adults. You would be joining teams of optimistic, talented and supportive colleagues, and teaching dynamic, ambitious and positive students.
We welcome applications from experienced candidates but also from prospective NQTs.
Our results are consistently well above national and students from different backgrounds and of different abilities thrive. In 2017 our Progress 8 was +0.65 and 85% achieved Grade 4+ in both English and maths and 62% Grade 5+. Our Sixth Form is thriving and progress is typically well above the national average.
Professional development is a strength and we offer a flexible CPD programme which staff can tailor to their own needs. As a Teaching School we offer a bespoke programme of coaching and training for new entrants to the profession and to support career returners. We also have a proven track record of supporting ambitious staff to middle and senior leadership posts and our can offer Specialist Leader of Education and school improvement opportunities to the right candidates.
Staff wellbeing is a priority and a key factor in school improvement decisions. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements including part-time working and job-sharing.
