Due to an expansion of the curriculum for core subjects, we are excited to offer this opportunity for an inspirational and ambitious Teacher of Maths to join our successful team as a Second in Department. 

The appointed applicant will join a supportive team, working alongside a well-established and very successful Maths department. You will be passionate about Maths and have the drive to be part of a forward-thinking department, focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences. 

This position would suit an aspiring teacher of Maths looking for an opportunity to develop their teaching and learning and leadership skills. Specific responsibilities will include supporting the Director of Learning for Maths in the day-to-day running of the department and a specific responsibility for the development of the Maths curriculum in KS3. 

Responsibilities will be negotiable and dependent on your interests and experience. The ability to teach A-Level Maths is desirable, but not essential.

TLR2 would be available for the successful candidate.
