Teacher of Maths
Required for September 2020
Enhanced United Learning Salary Scale
Suitable for Newly Qualified Teacher
At The Regis School, we enjoy building positive relationships with young people in a culture of high expectations, strong discipline and a determination to achieve ‘The Best in Everyone.’
We are a big school with close to 1600 students and nearly 200 staff. We have an amazing school building with superb facilities across all subjects, but that doesn’t define who we are. What defines us is our very real sense of community as a Rights Respecting School; a togetherness that permeates through daily school life and focuses everyone on the job in hand – ensuring ‘The Best in Everyone.’
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher to join us to teach Maths, from years 7 through to 11 with opportunities to teach A-level. Simon Weston, our Head of Faculty, is happy to offer any support and training should you need or want it. The one thing you will need is a love of Maths and know how to motivate our young people to feel the same.
Should you be looking for your first teaching post, we offer a bespoke induction and training programme, with built-in support and mentoring, to ensure this is the start of a long and successful teaching career.
We offer pay scales above the national standard with rapid progression for those who get consistent outstanding student outcomes, reduced gym membership to our on-site gym, reduced fees for the on-site nursery, and a laptop. There is a car leasing scheme and all staff can access ‘Perkbox’ offering discounts in weekly shopping, high street stores and flights and holidays. Why? Because we want the best for all our staff as well as our students!
We will give you a curriculum framework, a modern classroom with excellent facilities, comprehensive CPD opportunities, your timetable of classes and above all, the freedom to teach with creativity to motivate our students to work hard and achieve their potential.
There is an open invite for you to come and see us because we appreciate that, in teaching, moving to a new school is a significant decision. We are convinced our young people will sell this opportunity better than anything you can read on a website, so we encourage you to come and meet us all. Our recruiter, Richard, is happy to arrange this for you. Richard.firstname.lastname@example.org / 01273 729465.
This is an exciting time to join us: you will become a part of a close knit and determined team, built on an ethos of trust and collaboration. As a member of The Regis School and United Learning you will receive excellent Professional Development as well as a variety of rewards on the campus and wider.
For an application pack or to enquire further, please contact Richard Lanning on 01273 729465 or email email@example.com
