Did you come into teaching to make a difference?
Are you committed to changing lives and improving outcomes for all young people, regardless of barriers?
At Wirral Hospitals’ School, the answers to both of these questions is yes and we are looking to add to our Outstanding team.
A vacancy has arisen within our STEM faculty and we are in a position to appoint a permanent Teacher of Maths from September 2019, or sooner if available. The ability/willingness to also teach Business Studies to GCSE level is an essential requirement for this role.

You will have experience of teaching Maths to GCSE level, preferably to students with complex needs. You will also have experience of, or a keen interest in, teaching Business Studies to GCSE level. You will have a sound working knowledge of the barriers to learning faced by young people, particularly those with ASC and mental health difficulties.
You will be enthusiastic, creative and innovative and will be able to further develop the teaching, learning and assessment of Maths and Business Studies at the school.
Visits to the school pre or post the application closing date, are warmly welcomed.
