The vacancy provides an opportunity to join our talented and well-established team of staff. The role, in the first instance, is primarily to develop and deliver the GCSE Mathematics pathways available to students in the college. The GCSE resit programme has been very successful with pass rates well above the national average. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department in this area. Over time, you will be expected to contribute towards the teaching of Level 3 Mathematics.
The Mathematics Department is a successful part of an ambitious college and has historically demonstrated excellent results across all areas. As well as GCSE the Department offer A levels in Maths, Further Maths and Statistics. The Mathematics Department consists of 4 full time teachers who are all experienced fully qualified graduates.
