Job overview

Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Maths who would have responsibility for a year group but would also be able to teach Maths to both Key Stages; you will be able to deliver consistently good/outstanding lessons and be a highly motivated and excellent classroom practitioner, able to inspire students, with a commitment to your own personal development. Heads of Year are responsible for the pastoral and academic overview of their year group. They need to be role models in terms of conduct, dress and professionalism and in the way colleagues and students are treated. This should be with respect and courtesy. Head of Year are expected to support the school’s ethos and values at all times and will liaise closely with the Assistant Headteacher responsible for pastoral matters.
