We are one of the top-performing colleges in the country, situated in the cosmopolitan seaside city of Brighton & Hove. Working here offers the combination of both a wonderful place to work and a great city in which to live. Our students and staff are colourful, aspirational and hard-working – which is perhaps why 94% of employees would “recommend BHASVIC as a good place to work” and many of our students go on to Higher Education.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and well-organised teacher to contribute to the teaching of the BTEC L3 Creative Media Production courses (single and double award) and Interactive Media. There may be scope for you to teach Media Studies and/or Film Studies A level in the future, so candidates who also have experience of these are welcome to apply.
As a College, we are ambitious for our students and we need to appoint staff who can bring the right blend of flexibility, commitment, energy and vision. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and versatile teachers.
Join us and you can expect competitive pay and an excellent pension scheme, family-friendly working and a collaborative culture where ideas take flight together. Our Cycle to Work scheme, free counselling and occupational health service, discounted gym memberships and staff wellbeing events will keep you sharp, whilst our tailored induction programme and investment in your professional development – along with the possibility of funding for additional qualifications and to even take a sabbatical – will ensure an exciting future.
This is a permanent position, working an FTE of between 0.8478 (19.5 hours) up to full-time (23 hours).
