We know that Media Studies is a great qualification to support our students start a career  in the creative industries. These industries now account for 10% of all jobs in the UK and the successful candidate will have the chance to help our students take their first step into them

You will be a reflective classroom teacher of Media Studies who is eager to try new ideas in a supportive environment.   You will be keen to develop  existing  links within school with the Creative Arts team that you will be part of as well as with the nearby BFI and our partner schools which teach the same courses. If you are an NQT you will have a reduced timetable, support from a leading practitioner and will be able to attend CPD, if possible, during July 2020 before the EOT.

Lilian Baylis Technology School is a mixed, 11-19, inner city multicultural school located in a new building at Vauxhall, London which includes a dedicated Apple Mac IT suite for Media Studies. In February 2013 OfSTED stated we were ‘outstanding in all aspects’.
