Congleton Multi-Academy Trust Modern Foreign Languages team deliver innovative teaching.  We are looking for a new member of the team from September 2022. In summer 2018, Congleton High School achieved the strongest Progress 8 score in Cheshire and has an impressive track record of high achievement. The school has a strong Staff Development and Induction Programme and places high importance on the well-being of staff.

We teach Spanish, German and French to KS5. The successful candidate will be:

-  expected to teach one of these to KS5 and another to KS4.

- Have excellent communication skills 

- An ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential

- It is expected that the person appointed will demonstrate a commitment to the school’s extra-curricular activities. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced MFL team and contribute to the on-going success of the Department. Congleton High School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary academy with a sixth form, located in Congleton, Cheshire. At its most recent inspection, there were 1,103 pupils aged 11-18 on the school roll, including 220 in the sixth form.

The town of Congleton has a population of 26,500 and is 21 miles south of Manchester.
