As we continue to invest in our talented staff team we are looking to recruit a talented language professional with sound subject knowledge who is determined to improve the learning of our students and their own practice. The successful candidate will have French as their first specialism and Spanish up to KS3, ideally KS4.
The faculty has a highly creative and innovative curriculum and the successful candidate must not only demonstrate a passion for teaching languages but also have a range of teaching strategies that not only engage but challenge and enthuse pupils. It also runs language trips abroad. The successful candidate would be joining a very successful and capable team and would be expected to make an impact inside and outside the classroom.
The successful candidate will:
- Be committed to continuous improvement and development of the faculty.
- Have the ability to engage and inspire pupils and build excellent relationships;
- Be committed to Aylward Academy’s ethos;
- Be passionate and ambitious about their own career development.
- Have the relevant teaching qualifications such as PGCE and/or QTS or will be an NQT.
