Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages
Accrington Academy is part of United Learning, a successful national group of independent schools and academies which share a mission to bring out ‘the best in everyone’ and improve the life chances of the children and young people in their care. Our school has a strong local reputation and has been oversubscribed for several years. We are a successful school, with expanding 11-18 provision, and the majority of students spend their entire journey with us.
We are looking for a talented and dynamic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, with a focus on the delivery of Spanish. You must be able to inspire students, be innovative and achieve outstanding results. This is an ideal and exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher.
The MFL department at Accrington Academy consists of a team of three teaching staff. This is an exciting opportunity to help to shape the future of a highly valued EBACC subject area. We currently offer Spanish at both GCSE and A-level and we are currently covering the AQA specification. The department is well resourced with dedicated MFL classrooms, each featuring an interactive whiteboard.
As part of the United Learning chain of Academies, you will have access to strong and tailored development and unrivalled career opportunities to ensure you achieve your ambitions.
This is the perfect opportunity to work in an innovative and ambitious department and school. If you would like to see more, then please contact us and we would be delighted to welcome you for a visit.
