We are seeking to appoint, from January 2018, an enthusiastic teacher to work within our dedicated team of Modern Foreign Language teachers. The ability to teach French up to at least GCSE and Spanish to at least Key Stage 3 is essential; the ability to teach some German too is desirable.
Languages are taught to all KS3 students and then offered as an option at GCSE and A level. You will be joining the school at an exciting time as examination results at both A level and GCSE have seen rapid improvement and the school is expanding.
Prince William School is located in Oundle, within easy commuting distance of Peterborough, Stamford, Huntingdon, Wellingborough, and Corby. It is a vibrant and friendly school with enthusiastic, well-behaved students who are keen to achieve the best they can. Our commitment to a wider curriculum goes beyond the classroom and we have an excellent range of leadership and enrichment opportunities for all students at all ages that stretch their social and emotional skills. The careers provision at Prince Williams School is exceptional; it is tailored to each individual student with a one-to-one meeting with our dedicated career adviser in Key Stage 3 and in Key Stage 4. The RSE curriculum allows our students to express their thoughts on a range of challenging topics and encourages them to develop their oracy and articulation skills to become confident in expressing themselves verbally.
