Job overview

The Role

Are you enthusiastic and highly skilled in Modern Foreign Languages? Required from January 2022, we are seeking to recruit an inspirational teacher of MFL, with a proven track record of raising attainment and fostering a love of languages amongst students.

About you

This role calls for an individual who can teach Spanish to KS4 and ideally KS5 as well as having the ability to teach KS3 French.

You must have the highest of expectations of every student, be enthusiastic, flexible and have a desire to flourish within the MFL team as well as the desire to become a valued member of Bacon’s College.

This is an exciting time to join Bacon’s College; if you share our high expectations and are passionate about making a difference then we look forward to receiving your application.

United Learning

Bacon’s College joined United Learning in Spring 2018, a large, and growing, group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England. Our schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could.

United Learning and Bacon’s College values diversity and inclusion and is committed to creating and sustaining a more ethnically diverse workforce. In this regard we would not only welcome applications professionals from minority ethnic origin, but from majority ethnic professionals who share our commitment. If you have an unshakeable commitment to improving the lives of all young people, we encourage you to apply.

As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits, and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing. Our academies each have at least eight INSET days per year (with three of those solely dedicated to planning), and an ongoing group-wide wellbeing programme. It's an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’.

Bacon’s College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all who work at the school to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
