An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of a Qualified Teacher of MFL to teach French and Spanish at The Oxford Academy. We are a Good school with Outstanding Leadership Management and Professional Development following our Ofsted inspection in 2016 and ranked in the top 0.2% of schools nationally and where behaviour in and around the school is exemplary.
All levels of experience considered.
The ideal candidate would need to be an enthusiastic and creative person with a passion for Modern Foreign Languages along with a work ethic that focuses on student outcomes.
The successful candidate will possess a deep commitment to on-going formative assessment, will be able to excite and motivate students of all abilities to do their best in Key Stage 3 and 4. We are looking for an experienced linguist with strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high quality teaching across both key stages.
This post requires a hardworking, conscientious and energetic individual, who is experienced in enthusing colleagues and working with other teachers on cross-curricular projects. You should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage students, with new ideas. You must be able to work well within a team and cooperate with other members of staff. This post offers a teacher an exciting opportunity to develop their teaching skills in a range of whole-school CPD opportunities.
