Felpham Community College is a vibrant, forward-looking and successful school on the south coast in West Sussex. Our 2016 OFSTED inspection resulted in the school achieving ‘Good’ for all categories. The school is an 11-18 local authority mixed comprehensive with 1370 students on roll and a very successful sixth form.
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of MFL to join an established and effective team of specialists. The department is well resourced and teachers regularly plan collaboratively to ensure high standards of teaching and learning in French and Spanish for our students.
The successful applicant will be keen to immerse themselves in this stimulating environment and be a creative and effective practitioner. They will be required to teach French across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and whilst not essential, the ability to teach Spanish would be desirable. A desire to build strong, effective relationships with students and staff to create a cohesive, inclusive and positive school environment is also sought.
Please visit our website (www.felpham.com) for more information and an application pack.
Alternatively, please contact Karen Batchelor (Headteacher’s PA) on 01243 838026 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org Visits to the school are welcome.
