Required for September 2024

We are seeking a well-qualified linguist who is able to deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students of all abilities. The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic and hard-working, able to deliver Spanish lessons up to A Level and French lessons, ideally across all key stages but with confidence up to KS3. This role is suitable for ECTs or experienced teachers.

Spanish was introduced three years ago and we currently have a Y10 GCSE Spanish class alongside French and German in Y11 and up to A Level. Eventually, Spanish will replace the teaching of German so that Spanish and French will be taught up to A level.

The ideal candidate will also support the wider work of the MFL department’s development and be willing and able to assist with the creation of high-quality resources as well as a willingness to organise and take part in trips abroad. We run a very popular French trip to Le Touquet and a new Spanish trip to Granada.
