About Us

Part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), we are one of the largest 3-19 schools in the country, boasting our own nursery, primary, secondary and sixth form.

We operate across three sites and are led by three Heads of School in conjunction with the Lead Principal, Ged Rae. With new and refurbished buildings, we offer pupils and staff an outstanding learning environment. Our most recent Ofsted in November 2015 judged the academy consistently ‘Good’ and commented that despite its increasing size, it feels calm and orderly and has an atmosphere focused on learning.

Ransom Road campus is a beacon of improvement, celebrating the best results ever in 2016, something that the successful candidate will be integral in continuing to support.
