We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers, or those considering entering the profession through routes such as Teacher Apprenticeships, and we will consider applicants with the right skill set but without a formal teaching qualification.

We are looking for an exceptional teacher of MFL to teach our highly engaged and ambitious students, many of whom go on to study MFL at A Level. We would welcome applicants able to teach either French or Spanish to A level standard and both languages at KS3 and ideally KS4. The ideal candidate would have the ability and desire to teach a small amount of Latin at KS3 as required but this is not essential.

Join our very strong team in using creative and innovative approaches to deliver a curriculum that enables students to achieve exceptional outcomes with 57% of students studying French achieving a 7+ and 74% studying Spanish achieving a 7+ at GCSE in 2022, and 67% of students studying French achieving a A*-B and 100% of students studying Spanish achieving a A*- A at A level.

The key focuses of this role will be to: 

● deliver our high quality MFL curriculum to students in years 7-11;

● teach our Sixth Form students A Level MFL (Edexcel); 

● develop and share the use of high quality lesson resources in the department;

● contribute to our exciting MFL co-curriculum by leading clubs and societies.
