Job overview

Share Multi-Academy Trust is a small but rapidly growing partnership of primary and secondary schools based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire. Our aim is to provide an outstanding education for the children we teach by investing in the people in our organisation. Our potential for further growth is excellent and we are well placed to take advantage of the government’s intention to create an education system led by schools.

We are now seeking to grow and further strengthen our Languages department and are seeking to appoint a candidate with the potential to be an outstanding classroom practitioner. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach to at least GCSE, with the opportunity to teach at A Level available. They will be passionate about their subject, with a dynamic approach to classroom teaching. They will be inspirational in encouraging students to be continually driven to achieve, both now and in the future. The role may be based across the trust or within one of the schools, depending on need and candidate preference. Full details will be discussed at the interview stage.

We are also keen to hear from teachers with strong track records with the potential to become Lead Practitioners, Excellent Practitioners and Leadership positions. If you would be interested in vacancies at this level, please indicate this on your application.

In return, we offer an excellent salary package, which generously rewards high performance; a supportive working environment; excellent support and training; and employee benefits including an attractive pension scheme, childcare vouchers, an Employee Wellbeing Scheme and Share Academy Savers. Our aims

Our values

We believe education is all about people. Our success is measured in how we help our children and young people achieve. We can only achieve this success by employing talented, committed staff and working in partnership with parents. In doing so, we will benefit our communities. We have a distinctive way of interpreting this belief. We summarise it as:

“Valuing People, Supporting Personal Best.”

This means we seek for every one of our students and members of staff, to enjoy coming to our schools and for all of us to try our very best in everything we do. We help everybody gain the knowledge, skills and habits that can lead to a happy and successful life, both now and in the future. Across the trust, we pledge to deliver outstanding professional development and training opportunities that are bespoke for our teaching and support staff. We support colleagues through ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring using the latest evidence-based research, to strengthen their expertise.

With additional development opportunities for staff including research projects, subject enhancement training, and access to The National College online development platform, we are dedicated to supporting our staff to develop and grow as educators.

We also champion cross-trust collaboration and best practice sharing, maximising the opportunities and expertise available across our schools. All colleagues are encouraged to meet regularly, including through various forums where they can discuss ideas, and share experiences and resources.

We are committed to protecting our staff’s wellbeing by providing the support, guidance, and training needed to achieve the highest standards they are capable of.

Just as we encourage our pupils to achieve their personal best, we want the same for our staff, with colleagues having their own personal development plans.
