The Hayesbrook School is a wide ability, non-selective boys Academy with a mixed Sixth Form. We serve the communities of Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas, with all students supported and challenged to reach their own personal excellence.

The school has 763 students on roll. Our strengths are strong behaviour, examination success and an emphasis upon learning and teaching. The Hayesbrook School is also renowned for its success in extra-curricular activities and for its support of other school, both locally and nationally.

Teacher of Music and Performing Arts 

Required for April 2018 (or sooner) an inspiring and talented teacher of Music to join our happy and successful academy. Our new colleague will teach Music up to key stage 3, and up to GCSE Level in the Performing Arts. The department has an excellent track record of results with over 90% A*-C GCSE in 2017 and high levels of engagement not only in core lessons but with record numbers of students electing for instrumental tuition. 

As the Academy’s sole teacher of Music the opportunity to develop the curriculum and its impact is exciting. We believe in the power of Music and the Performing Arts and look forward to meeting a talented colleague with the drive and creativity to help us achieve even more excellence. We particularly welcome applications from teachers with a clear and ambitious vision for growing our successful department and who believe that opportunities are limitless.
