We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge to teach in our friendly and growing department. The post is suitable for an NQT.

The Music Department at Barking Abbey school is successful and growing, with both BTEC and GCSE classes offered at KS4. We hold two concerts per year and offer extra-curricular clubs. The successful candidate would be teaching across KS3 and KS4 and would be expected to contribute to the department’s ethos that every child is able to succeed and learn.

Barking Abbey is a heavily over-subscribed secondary school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, and has a well-deserved reputation for its friendly and supportive atmosphere and its excellent academic achievements.
