Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Music Teacher who makes student learning and progress central to their teaching.

To be successful, you will continually improve your practice and contribute to the development of other teachers by sharing ideas on best practice.

You will be able to support the promotion of excellent standards of learning, achievement, progress, attainment, and behaviour by working effectively and collaboratively. You will be passionate about Music and seek to positively impact the Academy by promoting the subject in lessons and also through developing the extracurricular programme further. The ability to play the piano/keyboard to a competent standard is essential. The ability to play and teach the guitar is highly desirable but not essential.

This is a part-time role for 19.5 hours per week.
