Job overview
We seek to appoint a part-time music teacher to work alongside a friendly, supportive and committed faculty. Exact days and hours will be discussed at interview.
A willingness to teach additional subjects would be an advantage.
Principal Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Head of Music
• To contribute to the teaching of Music
• To prepare and plan the delivery of lessons appropriate to the ability of the students.
• To participate in the development of appropriate syllabuses, materials and schemes of work.
Additional Responsibilities
• To be prepared to assist with extra-curricular activities.
• To be a Form Tutor to an assigned group and to carry out related duties in accordance with the general job description of Tutor.
• Willingness to teach additional subjects.
General Duties
• To carry out a share of supervisory duties in accordance with published rosters.
• To participate in appropriate meetings with colleagues and parents relative to the above duties.
