Teacher of Music
Fulham Senior School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Music with experience of teaching to the full age and ability range to join this brand new coeducational senior school in West London. Candidates must have a degree in Music in addition to QTS, and ideally will also be able to play an orchestral instrument to Grade 8 standard; orchestral playing is at the heart of our curriculum.
This offers a rare and challenging opportunity for experienced teachers to take forward their subject within an innovative educational establishment at the creation of Fulham Senior School.
Starting with 35 pupils and a staff of 8 in 2018, the school will build up year on year to a school of 280 pupils in 2021.
The main purpose of the role will be to teach Music but there are opportunities for the successful candidate to share their skills, experience, interests and hobbies within our extensive co-curricular programme that we offer to our pupils. We are a growing school so there will be career progression opportunities within the Music Department including positions to lead on the design of Music at KS5.
We also have a strong CPD programme and believe in seeking out opportunities to further staff.
Please apply by filling in the school’s Application and Equal Opportunities Form’s which can be found on our website: http://fulhamprep.co.uk/our-school/Vacancies/
